Subject

In the last post we’ve learned about greetings and how to introduce yourself. Now let me tell you about singular and plural subject. Same with others language, the sentences usually have at least subject and verb.

SUBJECT SINGULAR:

1. I =

saya (polite and formal)

Aku (polite, and more friendly)

Gue (unpolite, only for a close friend)

2. You =

Anda (polite and formal)

Kamu (polite and more friendly) But it doesn’t suitable for junior to senior, or employer to their boss. If you’d like to talk with someone who has a higher position, you can call using their name, but you have to put these word before: Pak/Bapak, Bu/Ibu, Mba, Mas… it’s generally use. E.g:

  • Pak Joni (Mr.Joni)
  • Bu Anna (Mrs.Anna / Madam/Mam)
  • Mba Merry (Ms. Merry)
  • Mas Donny (Mr. Donny)eLo (unpolite, only for a close friend)

3. She/he/it = dia

in bahasa there’re no difference in gender here, male or female we still can use “dia” and also for animal or anythings.

SUBJECT PLURAL:

1. We = kita/kami

Ex: We are human (kita adalah manusia)

2. You = kalian

Ex: You live in this world (kalian tinggal di dunia ini)

3. They = mereka

Ex: They are noisy (mereka berisik)

OK, that’s all for now, see you on the next article….have a nice day ^_^

What's Next?

Well, this is the first time I write an article in January 2011.
so, What's next on my blog....?
A few days ago, I read a news from VIVAnews.com about Indonesian proposed to be the official language in ASEAN in The 31st General Assembly of ASEAN Inter Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA) in Hanoi, Vietnam on last September. I still don't know it'll be accepted or not, but this is a really good thing.
Therefore, I have plan to make lesson articles about how to speak Indonesian. Who knows this would be useful for people overseas who want to visit Indonesia. Don't worry about learning it, I'll make it simple as I can, not too much in grammar, but more focus in conversation.
OK, just wait and see....it's coming soon.... :)

It's not kid stuff

Anime and manga, what's in your mind when you hear about that...? as far as I know it is typical of Japanese animation and comic. Both of them have typical image that different with western image style. I prefer Japanese animation and comic than the western. It has a unique type of image, beside that it usually has the meaningful and touching story, rich in characterization, and sometimes teach moral values...I don't say all of anime and manga have all those criteria, sometimes they have bad influences too, especially for children. It depend on what kind of anime and manga do you watch or read.
So, who says that anime are kid stuff? There are plenty of teen or adult anime and manga out there. You can see my article about manual drawing, all of the creation are from manga. it's the world that I interested in till now. Let's talk later about favorite anime and manga.

Now, I want to recommend you a good site for download anime calendar 2011, just check it out in http://gzrock.wordpress.com/

Win or Lose, is that a problem?

Indonesian national team's performance is getting better now in Asean Football Federation (AFF), football Indonesia that has been underestimated before, now has risen and become an idol in society. I don't know why, but this is really made the Indonesian people proud. The players became famous, like an artist ...Christian Gonzales, Irfan Bachdim, Firman Utina, Bambang Pamungkas, Markus Haris Maulana, Oktovianus Maniani, those are some players who became popular.

Tomorrow, on December 26 Indonesia will face Malaysia in the two-leg final of The AFF Suzuki Cup 2010. The first leg final is scheduled to be held in Malaysia (BUKIT JALIL NATIONAL STADIUM, KUALA LUMPUR) while the return leg in Indonesia (GELORA BUNG KARNO STADIUM, JAKARTA) and will be held on Dec 29.

previously, Malaysia has lost against Indonesia, in the preliminary round. But we don't know for the next game, because Malaysia will be the host in the first leg.
Well, I can say this match must be a destiny. Malaysia will definitely try hard to win, for avenge the defeat before.

Who will be the winner?
I think win, draw or lose it is common in every game.
If no draw, there must be coming out a winner and the other on the losing side.
However, the important thing is how to conquer that, after the game was over, after the winning and losing was announced.
What should we do, best?
over excited if your team win? or get angry, dissapointed when the team was lose?
I really hope,
if could be a winner, hopefully we will not wreak too much excitement, too proud of themselves, too arrogant. It would be nice if the winner is realized with gratitude to God. Feeling Happy is fine in moderation.
however, above the sky there will be another sky, still many out there that states more powerful.

Meanwhile, if defeat is experienced, hopefully not to vent frustration and emotional overload, do not scold or blame anyone. Accept the defeat with a prudent attitude.
Hopefully this match doesn't cause adverse impacts to the relations between the two countries. just open your heart and mind.
LET'S SUPPORT OUR OWN COUNTRY

Mother's Day

December 22, 2010. What day is it today...??
Yup, Mother's Day!!
We celebrate it in my country today.
Each country has different date of the Mother's Day. In Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Syria, Palestinian and other country in the middle east celebrate Mother's Day on March 21. Then, in UK, Ireland, Nigeria it's on March 22. Most of country such as Japan, Philippines,Germany, Australia, Canada, etc. celebrate it on May 8, 9, or 10. See the table more complete in: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mother%27s_Day
However, although many differences with each others, but the aim and purpose are still the same, that's for honoring our mother all over the world.
So, it's a special day for a special person.
It shouldn't be just a day, but all the time we have to honor, love, and respect mother.

So, what should we do or give in this special day to mother...??
If you're creative, you can design a simple card by yourself. Manual drawing or Computerize doesn't matter. Let your mind and idea create something creative. Mom will be happy receive anything from her children.
